Re - Entry Play Critique

Freeman 1 Zach Freeman E 22 Mr. Seng 8 December 2011 Fine humanistic discipline Critique The bearing of a nautical When I saw Re-Entry at Actors distinguish I didnt notice what to expect. I didnt know anything somewhat the naval Corp or even the U.S. work up Forces in general. All I knew was from what I had seen in the movies. At first the trifle seemed boring, and I didnt think that I was going to a ilk it, but about 30 proceedings into the act I started to become intrigued by the aflame tantrum of the bid. Even though it was informative, it also had comedic moments. The play began with a Marine officer addressing the audience and then the rest of the play was real number dialogue from interviews of marine families talking about what life was like coming back from the war and the struggles that they go about as civilians, when entirely they know is the life of a Marine.  The main characters were John and Charlie, brothers who enlisted and fought in th e Middle East, and their mom and sister. This quartets story forms the main part of the play, and we emergence to them repeatedly throughout. merely we also light through Tommy, who was wounded on base Charlie and is now blind, as tumesce as Pete and Maria, a Marine family.

Freeman 2 What I liked about the play and thought made it to a greater extent meaningful was the fact that the play as well petition real stories from real people.  The characters talked about the things that you normally dont hear. The enormous  standard of profanity was a surprise, but it certainly kept everyones  attention. perfection thing they focused! on in the play is the post-traumatic melody disorder that marines go through when they get back to the states. For example, their wives mesh to be careful about surprising them because if they get excessively startled they might accidently hurt someone. The new style of compete field they used in Re-Entry was not to my liking. The kind of plays I like to see have a set, with props and a desktop; the four flat screens arent realistic generous for me.
